What the app stores

DATASETS keeps your map — your sources, notes, groups and connections — in the app's local storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere by the app.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and makes no network requests of its own.

Backups

When you choose Back up data, the app creates a file containing your map and hands it to the system share sheet. Where that file goes (Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, a note, an email) is entirely your choice, and it is handled by iOS and the destination you pick — not by us. Restoring a backup reads a file you select.

Third parties

No third-party services are integrated into the app. The web version is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log standard server access information (such as IP addresses) as any web host does; we do not receive or use that information.

Children

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
